Will my plant be ok? Ive had Barbra for a few months now and she was doing really well, but a few of her leaves were turning brown and my boyfriend’s mom decided to cut all the leaves off. Will this kill Barbra or will she be ok, i know plants need their leaves for photosynthesis and she has a sprout but thats all now. (Sorry for the bad picture I found her like this late at night)

A node is the knuckle like bumpy thing on a stem. I know ... Very technical term there. But seriously, hopefully you can propagate a piece and ask your boyfriends mom if she would like all her fingers cut off? I know it's harsh, but so is cutting back someones else's plant. Good luck. 🧡

Depends what kind of plant Barbra is. I’ve had plants come back from losing all their leaves, it’s a slow process, but the sprout is promising

Monsteras are pretty resilient, but still it will probably take some time. She probably didn’t need that haircut, sorry that happened to you :(

This may be a Monstera Borsigiana, rather than a deliciosa. The easiest way to tell is the deliciosa has ruffles on the stem where the stem meets the leaf
