What the hell are these yellow sprouts (For context I put a plaster over this root when it was damaged because idk. Just peeled off the plaster and saw this)

    No worries, I’m pretty sure that’s just new root growth. With some plants, damage can actually prompt growth.

      Putting plaster on roots can also hinder this kind of growth, as well as recovery. If you see damaged roots again, I’d recommend using products that disinfect injuries for houseplants or simply cutting it off.

    They're just secondary roots, no reason to worry about them :)

    Just new roots, mine do that when I accidentally damage the main aerial root. I leave mine to grow into the soil just as I would the main ones.
