Its an indoor plant. I use the soil meter and also check with my finger. 3 weeks back I found the small white mushrooms and I took them out. I feel like, the plant became dull after the mushrooms were taken out. I don’t know if I’m right or wrong.

Possible root rot or overwatering? I had a monstera cutting in leca and it started to yellow so quick and when I took a look at the roots they had become dark and mushy 😵‍💫🫢

I re-potted it 4 weeks back, the roots were good. Should I check? My pot has holes. I added very few water and excess water was out too, 🙃

I got it from my aunt 6 weeks back, re-potted 4 weeks back. I watered after 4 weeks. I do check the soil moisture before watering by using the soil meter.

Hi - I’ve repotted mine/ have a couple of monsteras and exact same - I’ve repotted a few times and each time a few leaves do die :( I’d say just wait it out and don’t panic if a few leaves come off. If it continues after about 2 months then I’d say might be a soil problem 🍃

it’s likely transplant shock or those bottom leaves were infected and now the plant is using its energy to more efficiently, which means the lower leaves will die off. this happened to me and my plant just grew three new leaves. trust the process unless your bigger leaves start to yellow. prune them and keep watch. good luck
