This Monstera Deliciosa is ready for some support, and I am unsure whether I should get a moss pole or trellis. It’s been growing like crazy. I’ve repotted him twice in the last 2 months due to circling and escaping roots. What are the pros and cons of each support, and what have people’s experiences been?
sticks work just fine too! i think a really good video for how to support monsteras is by paige tailyn on tiktok or youtube! it’s titled “how to stake your monstera” and was posted in january of this year. as for my experience, i’ve just been using wooden sticks and so far my monstera has been going strong. i think a trellis could also be worth a shot, although i haven’t tried that method yet, so i can’t properly give you my opinion on it.

I had a bamboo and moss pole but I was terrible at keeping it moist and also the base of it rotted and is broken. I’ve also been to theme parks in Southern California where I see tons of monsteras climbing hard palm tree trunks so I think something sturdy is better than a moss pole.

I have tried Moss poles and like ABagel said it's hard keeping them moist enough, and when you do, the soil of the plant itself is always way too wet from the draining of the moss pole. I now have them on dry choir poles and they seem to be loving it just fine.

I just used cedar sticks that ( four packs) I used it on my monstera delicoousa and Monstera Peru ( had to use two cedar sticks so they can grow around it) it supports and encourage to grow more
