Few suggestions: Might need a more chunky soil mix. You can get some regular potting mix and mix in perlite &/or orchid bark. They also sell a tropical soil mix at most big box stores, which has worked ok for me usually in the past. Not sure about your watering schedule, but the roots can tolerate a little excess moister in the soil as long as it doesn’t stay soggy for too long. Usually like to wait till a third of the pot gets kinda dry. Depends on placement/ light levels. They naturally like to climb; getting a moss pole will make it feel “more at home” so to say, and the leaves actually get bigger if you do that. But I’ve had mine trail and hang before, nothing wrong with it. They really thrive on bright indirect light, but can tolerate some direct sun. I’ve had some out back, and they would get about an hour or so morning sun and it never really bothered them(just needed to water a little more often) . *if you water too little or too much the leaves normally turn yellow, or could be pests but normally there would be other signs. Disease can also turn leaves yellow ( would recommend getting an organic fungicide). And last, and I’m sure I’m probably forgetting something, but I like to mix in Osmocote slow release fertilizer into my soil mix to give them nutrients over time and water them with a water mix in tropical plant fertilizer like once a month. Especially from May-sept/October during their growing season. I hope this helps!

Did look at some of your photos. Not sure if you keep it on the shelf in front of the frosted glass or what time of day photos were taken, but it looks like it’s not getting enough light. Would recommend moving it or getting a grow light off Amazon. It’s also more than likely why the spacing from leaf to leaf or node to node is pretty long. But you can circle it around the top of the pot on the soil (covering it slightly with some soil) and the nodes will root and new growth points can activate, eventually giving you a more bushier plant. & more roots will make it more robust and if a part dies there’s other parts that have roots to keep growing, so you don’t loose your whole plant.

I've saved similar plants by propaging in water 😬 it's not guaranteed though
