Will my thai con start to climb this coir pole? I took a bit too long to introduce the pole, but hoping it will start growing up now?

    I don’t see any reason why not! It looks like you could repot it with the main stem facing little more upwards and reattach it to the pole. Sort of with the “S” of the main stem in front of the pole like “$” PS. If you use your velcro tie the other way around, it will be a bit softer on your plant! Not necessary but some people prefer it 🥰

    you have it attached by the petioles, not the stem, which is not ideal. repot and tilt the stem just a little bit further forward so that spot with the cut aerial root touches the coir. put the velcro around the top three petioles so you're securing the stem and not just leaves

      Most important advice from plantgeek, you can cause a lot of undue stress and damage on a monstera by attracting it to the wrong spots. Always by the stem not the petiole

    Look for the “big backbone” that’s the part you really want affix to the pole!
