I just brought home this gorgeous adansonii today. I took off the drainage catcher from the pot and noticed the roots are already poking out of the holes, should I repot it soon??

    Wow! I haven't seen these in a hanging basket before! These are usually climbers, I think a repot isn't a bad idea! You picked a beautiful one!

    I would wait until the growing season to repot it doesn't look that crowded to me. A few Roots grown up the bottom is not harmful.

    You certainly can use a post but I don't feel like it's a necessity I've seen many of them grown in hanging baskets.
