If it’s just the very thin part, you should be good!
1 me gustaThe sheath has served its purpose once the new leaf has emerged. The next new leaves comes from the stem of the last, not the sheath. All good!
1 me gustaI don’t really know from this angle. It kind of looks like you have a new leaf coming that might be a little bit stuck. If that’s the case you can drip some warm water on it and gently prize it out. But this indicates a lack of humidity generally. I don’t know what you mean when you’re talking about a torn sheath. Like I said before, the sheath serves no purpose beyond protecting the new leaf as it comes out. Once it’s out, the sheath with naturally dry up and flake away even
