I just bought my monstera few days ago and when I came home from work yesterday I saw on the leaves has some water spots, I was looking to my ceiling it might have some leaking. Is it normal to have this water on the leaves or I watering the plant too much. Thank you

I assume there is a leak or excess moisture in the air. I don’t think the plant would perspire due to overwatering though. In my experience, my monstera is hearty and doesn’t NEED watered more than once a week or so, if not less.

It's a normal process for the plant called guttation that happens when you water and the excess water and minerals excrete through the plants leaves. Pothos, Philodendrons and Monsteras are notorious for this :)

Mine cry all the time!! Tears of joy, I walk by this sucker and get a few drops on me everyday just about, even when I haven’t watered her for more than a week- two weeks, I know she needs watered when she stops 😅
