Hi there! I have had some new growth on my monstera but I’m noticing that the new leafs have been turned brown while they are unfurling, anybody have any ideas why? Thank you!

    Humidity is too low.

Check the roots for root rot. I would also wash the leaves with some soapy water just to be sure it doesn’t have thrips, etc. This can also occasionally be caused from over fertilizing.

My adasoniis did this when the humidity got too low, and since I didn't know what it was at first and tried several other things, it got pretty bad. But at some point I read something on here about misting the new leaves as they come in, and it works. I mist maybe once or twice a day. As you can see, the leaves farther along the stem that came in after i started misting, are perfectly healthy (I know there's a big gap between nodes, it was in a window but turned so that it was facing away from the light).

Always double check for pests. But Probably humidity, it can cause tearing of the leaf in the sheaf, that will cause browning as it emerges.
