Does anyone have any tips on getting this cutting to survive? I propagated it in water for about 3-4 months and planted it in dirt about a month ago. Is this a normal thing to happen with monstera cuttings? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! (It got watered today)

I would take it out of the dirt immediately! Clean it off under running water maybe even give it a little dip in a hydrogen peroxide and water mixture, add rooting hormone, and place in water! The success rate with water propagations is much higher than in soil and is much much quicker to root!

Also would recommend when you’re ready to pot it in soil make sure it’s a chunky mix (potting soil , orchid bark, perlite) and a smaller pot . It should be 1-2 inches bigger than the roots
