Hi guys 🙈 This is Apollo, I got him at a hardware store where I’m assuming they put more than one plant in the same pot. Now I’m struggling to keep him contained and wondering if y’all had any advice for how I should go about splitting him up? I think there are about 4 different plants in here 😅 He’s my first baby so I’m super attached lol so thank you guys in advance for all your help! 💚

Sorry for late reply, but would you recommend I chop and prop the plants in water? Or if I divvied up the roots and planted them in smaller pots would they survive? Thank you! 💚

I did this!! It’s def a good option, but just a warning: if your plant looks really unhealthy after it, DONT WORRY! It’s going through separation shock! Best of luck! 🖤

I think you should start with water if you’re chopping leaves; but if you manage to separate with roots then you can probably pot them just make sure to give them a good drink afterwards. and yes what autumn said is true, it may go through shock so if it drops a little that’s okay

I don’t know how entangled the roots are, so I’ll have to check things out once it stops raining here and they can get some good light while they recover. Thank you for all your help I appreciate you!!! 💚
