My monstera esqueleto is *determined* to put out roots here. Not even aerial roots! Should I repot? I’ve never had something happen like this before lol

this is normal — monstera will always be looking for something to climb and will make their own stilts if they have to 😎

Somehow on accident none of my other ones are as vine-y as esqueletos are, and I only just got my first adansonii recently so I haven’t had that happen before! I’ll get it some support soon for sure

it’s a preference! i prefer my adansonii to hang even though they want to climb — it will be more inclined to make itself little legs when you let it be “bushy”

I have literally 13 adansonii leafless nodes growing roots right now and I’ve been trying to decide how I want to pot them. I’m about to do some repotting and play some musical chairs with my pots and I’m going to end up with an extra empty 8” terracotta pot - do you think I could put most or all of them in there and they’d get bushy and eventually hang like you describe?
