I need help with my Monstera Albo cutting. I’ve wanted one of these for forever and when I finally got my hands on a cutting, it had zero roots; not even an aerial root. I’ve had it for around 2 months now and it looks nearly the same as how I got it, except the leaf has browned a bit. While someone on Planta helped me a month or so ago to stop the browning, I am now very concerned that there are still no roots. I am worried that it will rot at some point if no roots grow, so what should I do to help it? I applied some rooting hormone to it a while ago and it sits in a bag (partially opened to make sure humidity doesn’t get way too high) with sphagnum moss and perlite in it. Am I doing something wrong or do I just need to wait longer. I’ve heard these can take a long time to root, but this guy seems determined to stay exactly how it is now. Thanks

Agreed! Take it out of the bag and propagate in water. I’m crossing my fingers that it takes off. 🤞🏾

Ok I’ll probably move to water and I will just have to take every precaution to make sure it doesn’t rot. Thanks for the help!
