Hey everyone. So this is my big baby here , I know normally when mushrooms grow it is considered a good thing . I’ve never seen her with a mushroom like this one . Should I be concerned or is it still just her soil being healthy ?

    First off, that plant is impressively beautiful! Next, it’s been explained to me that most mushroom sightings mean the soil is a great environment for them to thrive! Also showing you the plant will love it too! Herman hasn’t had many for a while, but was a mushroom farmer about 2-3 weeks ago!🪴😂🤓

    You shouldn’t be concerned it’s very normal, I’m pretty sure this type is non toxic as well but I’m not a mushroom expert lol

    It looks psychedelic to me but I too, am not a mushroom expert. I wouldn’t eat it but if you’re curious I would submit the photo to your local mycological society. They would know best.

    The most common species of mushroom that end up in indoor plants are flowerpot parasol and the coprinoid family. Both are not considered dangerous, but should not be eaten because they can cause stomach upset in both people and pets. Coprinoids also tend to be worse if the person had alcohol at around the same time as the mushroom. They're harmless to plants. If it blooms into a mushroom often, that can indicate overwatering, but if it's just an occasional thing it's no big deal

      Well isn’t that a fun fact . I def don’t want to consume anything from my plants if they aren’t plants that are made to grow and not mushrooms 🍄‍🟫😂
