Hello everyone, I need some help. So I got a huge gorgeous cutting of a Thai constellation monstera a few weeks back and I planted it in soil. I never poked holes into the base of the pot and unfortunately, he’s now suffering from root rot. Is this salvageable? I dunked him in 1 part hydrogen peroxide and two parts water and now I’m leaving him to callous over. I cut of much of the rot as I could.

    Looks salvageable to me! The node isn’t rotten so you’re just starting over. It’s unfortunate but should survive! I like to put a little wax from a candle over the ends of anything I’m worried about getting rot in water but it’s not necessary. Just a little extra peace of mind.

      Thank you! For now it’s just in water (only covering the node) but the stem and leaf are still healthy!
