Heyy everyone, this black spot showed up on my monstera and it’s just getting bigger. The only changes I’ve made with this plant is down sizing the pot, can anyone tell me what it is and how to fix it?

DaniiIt could be a sigh of rot. I would be careful with watering in the future.

Samit could be rot, or a burn mark if she’s too close to a grow light

I think it’s some type of fungus after i did more research, i ended up having to cut the leaf off because more than half of the leaf was black by the next morning :(

aw girl that sucks!! if you want bigger leaves with more fenestrations, i recommend a homemade moss pole if she’s not already on one and pruning the stem or stimulate more growth! this is my thai constellations newest leaf after chopping her:) also a diluted hydrogen peroxide mix can kill/prevent some fungal infections (also other great benefits if you research it a little)
