How about humidity is it high enough, because it could be a humidity problem.

Autumnit’s a humidity problem. Elizabeth’s right.. find a new spot for it, and don’t spray the leaves!!

The leaves look wet due to it being in a bathroom near a shower. Will consider moving it. Has been there a few years and been okay though

How should you increase the humidity without spraying the leaves? Not the original poster but read this and wondered. I live in belfast UK and have been spraying leaves to increase humidity

OliviaI just got a humidifier after waffling on the decision for a while and it's made a huge difference! Other things I've done to increase humidity are pebble trays (a dish filled with pebbles and a very shallow amount of water, so the plant can sit on top of the pebbles and absorb the ambient humidity—but not so much water that it covers the pebbles and reaches the plant/soil, or you risk root rot), grouping plants together (which creates a microclimate as they evaporate water from their leaves), and even putting small cups/glasses of water nearby plants which will also increase the ambient humidity near the plant as the water evaporates! I like to keep my water propagations near my potted plants for that reason :)

oh, put plants in groups! (that need humidity) 3+ plants in each group near windows and it works wonders! ♪
