Howdy yā€™all! So last night I noticed a white powdery substance in the underside of my monstera borgisianaā€™s newest leaf. It didnā€™t seem like mealybugs and I was able to wipe it off fairly easily but it left behind a small bruise. Woke up this morning to check on the lead and now itā€™s developed a bruise on the underside and the top of the leaf. Any ideas what could be happening here? Thanks Iā€™m advanced!

    All good here, new leaves are very delicate and are damaged easily, so probs happened when u wiped it. Also the white powdery substance was probably just hard water stain

    The bruising is probably normal like Soup said. I'd keep an eye on the white powdery substan e it could be powdery mildew, which is a fungal infection.
