Monstera dooo like being root bound, but with them coming out the bottom, a repot would probably help! Just make sure it’s not too big, ideally really only 1-2 inches bigger than its current pot

I would pull it out of the pot to check, and if it looks like there are more roots than soil, it should be repotted. And when you repot, you’ll need a much chunkier soil than that one, since these are extremely prone to rot. Also, is that a bottom watering tray? If so, it probably doesn’t need a repot. I’ve noticed that since I’ve started bottom watering, more of my plants have started growing roots out to bottom without being rootbound.

hey! before repotting i’d recommend also looking at how compact your roots are in your pot. a lot of times plants will reach their roots down and out of the pot especially if it grabbing water from a tray under it. you’ll be looking for your roots to fill about 80% of the pot like the image i’ve attached. if your roots look tightly wound like my picture, then it’d be a good decision to repot. when you repot try to do 1 size larger (ie going from a 4inch to a 6 inch pot)
