Hey folks, finally got a Thai con! Feel like I'm the last one haha. What does everyone recommend grow light timing wise? I've read online that 12 hours in the winter is necessary, but it's summer right now and the monstera is sort of adjacent to a window that provides enough light for a low light plant (I had a thriving pothos there before. I don't want to burn the leaves or burn up my electricity bill!
i highly recommend a light meter. you can even get free ones on your phone. find one that measures in PPFD, and if the spot reads 300-600 for at least 8hrs, no supplement needed. but probably not likely just looking at that spot. winter hours depend on your summer hours, if you like to keep it at 12-14 during the summer, cut it to 10hr in the winter. it's personal preference really, i've had my thai con in a west window that reads ~350 ppfd on average throughout the day, sun lasts 14h where i am right now, she grows like a weed.

I have a Birina T10 floor light in front of mine currently about 18 in away for 12 hours a day.

I have this same setup but 16 hours a day, and my plant is very happy.
