Hi Community! We have this big Monstera plant in the office and it’s not looking too good. Can someone shine a light on what’s going on with this big green baby? What are these brown stems coming out of the plant? Do we need to cut it off? Please help. Thank you!!

    I’m more concerned about all the yellowing - which is usually a sign of overwatering. They really like CHUNKY mix. Adding orchid bark, BIG perlite and coco husk to your regular potting soil will help. This increases aeration around the roots, prevents root rot from over watering.

    i think this plant is needing more light — overwatering is probably happening in part due to lack of adequate light. it’s not getting energy from the sun so it’s not making use of the water it’s getting
