What’s going on with my Peru?? I have the adansonii and she’s never done this. This one started these mysterious yellow spots a few days after bringing her home. She has a grow light above her and is pest free. Soil is freshly watered and drained through. She is not overwatered. Please help! This is a dream plant of mine!

Does it look fungus like? Mine tried to die until I put in in the greenhouse. And I got excited because I thoughts it was putting out another leaf... nope. Mofo just sent out a random vine 😭😭😭😭

There’s a new leaf taking its time to unfurl, and the leaf before that is the only one unaffected by these spots. All the other leaves have them 🤔

I’m not sure about a fungus because it’s not spreading. Just showed up one day to piss me off

Maybe it was pest damage prior to getting? And just yellowed up 2 days later?

Thatd explain why it's not spreading to the new leaves

Could be. It had a cold car ride home in early February, so that might be it!

Mine was doing this and it turned out to be thrips. I couldn’t spot a single one…until I gave the whole pant a good soak in a hydrogen peroxide/ water solution. They had burrowed into the stem about an inch from the root ball, and it wasn’t until she was bubbling away that I finally spotted them. Looked like dust floating on the top of the water. Idk but wishing you luck!! 🙏🏾
