A TINY bit of fertilizer or root zone will help and change out the water at least once a week

I would do a little less water, then keep an eye on the levels. You want the water to only be slightly higher than the level of the node. This could turn the bottom of the stem area mushy. I also often have had monsteras push out a new leaf during propagation and as it is that new leaf would be under water at first which isn’t ideal. The biggest thing is patience! Put it somewhere with tons of light and don’t look at it except to check the water level and once a week to change out the water. If you get aerial roots under water that’s ok, just ignore them. It’ll take 3-6 weeks to get to where it’s ready to plant.
