Care tips! (Monstera- Thai Constellation) 💚 • WATER 💧 I recommend watering just when it reaches low moisture levels , you can use a moisture meter to check if needed , or plant in a clear pot to see better . I water roughly once a week or so with the “We The Wild” grow concentrate . These are prone to root rot so make sure it’s decently dry but not bone dry before watering , and also not sitting in water for too long. I bottom water mine with a large tray to make sure the water is getting directly to the roots . • POT 🪴 I highly recommend the clear pot so you can see the root system , because it tells you so much about the plants health. • SOIL 🍄‍🟫 They like extra chunky soil with lots of drainage , I use a perlite , orchid bark, and fox farm soil mix . I also add worm compost to the mix . • LIGHT ☀️ They like bright but indirect light , so you could place it a few feet away from the window or something like that. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions :)

I prefer the seeing how heavy the pot is and cake method. Cake method being using a stick to see how much the soil has dried out (like seeing if a cake is cooked). Moisture meters are too unreliable

There’s many methods to checking moisture for sure! You can use any kind of stick really but chop stick is def best. Moisture meters are decent depending on the quality of course. And lifting the pot lightly to feel its weight can also work! I prefer to use the clear pot method , because you can see how dry or moist it is very easily. Sometimes if I’m unsure I’ll use my meter tho :)
