Soil is kept too moist. They’re not harmful, actually a sign you have a good balance of fungal bacteria in your soil. Just let it dry out more in between watering and they’ll go away.
2 likesOh thank goodness! Thank you for telling me this. I thought I had a fungus and it was all gonna die. I’m going off planta’s watering schedule, but it doesn’t seem to be keeping my plants in the best condition
1 likeNp! Get a metal chopstick to check when plants need water. The best tool you could ever have.

0 likesStick it in the soil to the bottom. Pull it out. Touch the dirt that sticks to the chopstick. Lots of dirt/Wet - leave it alone. Very little dirt/Dry - Water. You’ll also be able to see how much of the pot is wet + dry. It takes a little bit of time but once the intuition is learned it’s best method.
