I need help with placement for a moss pole. My plant is growing backwards. All the leaves are facing in the direction that the aerial roots are growing from so I’m not sure where to put the pole. Please help 😅

place your moss pole on the back of the plant- the side that new growth is coming out of. your leaves are growing in that direction because they aren't getting enough light. place closer to the edge of your porch, or put it inside facing a window. ideally, all of the leaves should face the same or a very similar direction and should connect to the petiole (leaf stem) at roughly a 45 degree angle.

I just gave her new soil and slimmed her down and straightened her up. When I bought her she was leaning pretty bad so that could be a factor too I suppose. Thank you!
いいね 1件if you adjust the direction the plant faces relatively frequently, it can confuse the plant and cause it to grow randomly like this. in nature they grow on the sides of trees, and thus only ever face one direction for their entire life. it's also not recommended to move them at all very frequently, changing their conditions (humidity, wind, temperature) can also confuse or even shock the plant. it's alright to move it outside for summer and inside for winter, but if you aren't following a strict schedule it can impede growth.
