Help! I repotted my monstera bc of infested soil, and idk if I should trim any dead parts like dead new leaves. I added some photos below, and those were the specific parts I am asking about. :/

    How was the soil infested? And I can’t tell from your photos because we might need more angles and a bigger shot of the whole plant but that could just be the sheath that a leaf came out of browning and being replaced by a newer sheath?

      I think possibly fungus gnat larvae, or some time of root-eating grub. The soil that she was potted in at the store just wasn’t that great.

      No problem! That’s probably what the brown areas in your photos. Unless you’re saying leaves are also discolored or dying? Fungus gnats you would see flying around, and those aren’t probably harmful unless there’s an insane infestation. I recommend mosquito bits for those. Grubs I’m not sure about but hopefully repotting got rid of them!
