so i have this monstera albo that is highly variegated but the newest 2 leaves happened to be verrrrrrry white - the newest especially. i’m debating on cutting the plant back, either below the newest leaf or at the pink line i drew on the picture. i’m also very nervous to do this tho because it is my most expensive plant and im so afraid of killing it. pls let me know what you would do if you were me. maybe air layering? i’ve never done it before but ive heard it works for monsteras.

Personally, I would wait to see what the next leaf comes in as. If you give it extra light to help supplement the variegated leaves

Honestly the bit of green on that white leaf should be enough for it to survive! I agree ☝️ let another leaf come and see how it is

If the latest petiole is fully white I’d chop it. Look for a bud that has a good mix of green and white before cutting.

Power through, it will prevail! I have one as well and it actually just put out and all white leaf but the next one was fine. I put it in a room with south facing windows.
