Hey guys! I was given this monstera Thai march 26th and now I’m trying to revive it. The roots were sketchy at best and I decided to give it a go by potting it in a chunky mix. I have a SANSI bulb for 12 hours a day on it and since it really hasn’t done much. The new leaf has not budged and the dark spot on the top has gotten a little worse. I’m going to keep monitoring it and watering as needed but when would it be worth doing a root check? When could I expect the plant to do something? Very new to all of this so thank you!

I’d definitively check the roots. Variegated monsteras are a little more prone to root rot from what I’ve heard? You might need to treat it for fungus and let the soil dry out well
