Have you checked the roots ? Maybe the pot is too big, post a picture of the whole plant maybe more information will come 😊

いいね 1件Awesome ! So to me the pot does look big but again I would definitely check the roots make sure everything is all good there. Monsteras like a more snug pot from what I know.

I would definitely check the roots and inspect thoroughly for pests. Then treat it as if it HAS pests even if you don’t see them. Change the soil, check roots, spray it down with a mix of water, peppermint Castile soap, neem oil I agree the pot is too big.

As everyone else has said - check the roots! Anything dark and squishy, prune (with sterilised, sharp scissors). Move to a slightly smaller pot - and if you’re new to plant care use a high quality pre-mixed soil. I like the Grow Tropicals soil mix - it’s light and airy, which monsteras enjoy. I use terracotta pots which dramatically reduces the risk of overwatering but does mean you need to check (using your finger or a wooden bbq stick) every few days. When you repot, position the wooden pole a the back of the plant (the way the leaves are facing is the front), make sure it’s solid, and tie the main stem to the pole using soft Velcro plant fastenings. Lastly, fertilizer. I love Liquid Gold - it’s a miracle worker. I do once per month in the warmer months. Good luck, and congrats on your new baby!

いいね 1件Hope it helps! What wish I’d known when I first started. Re soil - the Grow Tropicals mix I referenced is specifically their monstera mix. Really helps!
