New monstera owner, I’m rehabbing a monstera from a plant shop. Some of the leaves have ripped and are misshaped. If I trim them at the base of the leaf instead of the stem at the base will it regrow from the stem?

    No, leaves can never regrow from a petiole (the ‘stem’ you’re referring to) however if the leaves are only misshapen but otherwise green and healthy, I would not cut them off! As long as they are green, they are still giving the plant energy and will contribute to rehabbing
