Ok I'm gonna sound crazy here, but do you guys think I can grow a new plant from just this? For context this used to be a beautiful mini monstera that I cut into pieces for propitiation. I never successfully got them rooted so I cut them up into small single leaf segments and experimented with one soil group and one water group. I ended up fighting a war with thrips and got distracted, leaving me with just these stems 4 months later. But they're still green... So there's hope? Right??

    I have no idea about mini monstera, but I have totally done this with regular monstera and pothos. I dipped them in rooting hormone and put them in a little clear takeout container with damp sphagnum moss. Success rate was like 40% at best, so I wouldn't be too optimistic about it, but it's *possible* with some plants.

      Ooh actually now that I think about it I did one of the monsteras in fluval & perlite and that worked pretty well

    Oh there’s absolutely hope. I’ve been snipping and propagating my mini monstera for years now and it’s such a resilient and hungry plant. I say keep it simple and pop them in some water with rooting hormone. Be diligent about changing up the water every 5 days and by spring you should have roots

    I do the sphagnum moss in clear containers but I put them on a heating mat. They start sprouting pretty quickly.
