Hello. I got a monstera that ended up getting a really bad fungus gnat infestation so i broke the stems up and completely changed out the soil. The separate stems seem to be going south so I wanted to see if the experts on here has any advice before it’s too late. My concerns being the yellow leaves and black on the biggest leaf in the last image. I’m trying to dry them out because of the previous gnats so the soil is quite dry.

Your gnats are most likely coming from that soil. Monsteras like to be in a chunky mix. The leaves look like there might be root rot.

It's transplant shock, maybe be too big of a pot when separated

I had a similar problem a couple years ago with a smaller monstera variety. I had them in soil that wasn’t chunky enough and when I transplanted them to the right soil they started dropping leaves. I cut the roots completely off and water propagated the stems (they all had growth nodes). The funny thing was, I didn’t remove the roots from the pots and they actually pushed up new growth that were just fine in the chunky soil. Once water propagated stems had good roots and put them into chunky soil and they are doing well now too…and I have twice as many plants as I started with! Try a 1:1:1 mix of potting soil (not potting mix), perlite and small pine park (just make sure it isn’t dyed).
