One of my new leaves is growing in backwards - any clue how to fix this? I tried turning the plant backwards to see if it would follow the sun but she didn’t budge.

Hard to tell without seeing the dirt but it looks like you have multiple plants and they’re facing different directions. I had the same issue, and separated the plant into four separate plants.

depending on how it’s grown in, once it’s done, you can make it face the other way with plant velcro or something similar
0 LikesHi 👋🏻 I have many Monstera’s and this happens quite frequently but don’t be alarmed. After some research I found out that the leaves are connected to the petioles (not to be confused with stem) This “rotates” the leaves around so they can get absorb the best amount of sunlight throughout the day. Best guess is that at some point this leaf was getting more sunlight at the bottom half so the geniculum rotated the leaf even further to maximize photosynthesis, causing the leaf to flip over like this. Honestly, it is easier to keep the leaf the way than forcing it to turn (might look odd but will not harm your plant) and Monsteras don’t care as long as they are photosynthesizing on a regular basis. I love to call those Monsteras of my mine as Abstracts Monsteras 😆 . Hope this helped!
