I wanted another trailing plant so bad! My boyfriend and I saw a monkey mask at a local plant store and I fell in love! I would say I am comfortably at an intermediate plant parent level. Please help me not kill it! Any advice? She’s a beaut. 😍

They like light, and mine love a misting
1 j'aimeThese can be difficult but for the most part mine are pretty easy. Plant in a well draining potting mix and make sure the pot isn't more than 1-2 inches larger than the root ball. Make sure the soil is completely dry on top, maybe a bit damp still on the bottom before you water it. I would say they are more seceptible to overwatering than underwatering, but if they get too dry they will lose leaves and I've found that once they start losing leaves they keep losing them for a while. If that happens don't freak out, just adjust your watering schedule. I fertilize every two weeks in the growing season, every month now in the winter, but it kinda depends on how much you dilute your fertilizer. Also if the leaves start coming out distorted with brown spots on them it pry means it needs more humidity, I try to mist mine at least once a day because that happened to me. Good luck!🪴
