Albert the Albo wanted to greet everyone here and beg for the best guidance for me from y’all! When should I move him up from the 2 inch pot? Should I do 2 to 3 or 2 to 4? I really do not want to rush but I do not want to take any chance of losing him.
Hey Ms D It actually looks pretty comfortable in that pot still. With Albo this size I usually wait until the roots are really filling the pot or starting to come out of the drainage holes before moving them up. If you do decide to repot, I’d go from 2 inch to 3 inch rather than jumping straight to a 4. Too much extra soil around a small root system can stay wet longer and that’s where people sometimes run into rot. At this stage they’re usually focused more on building roots than pushing bigger leaves, so a bit of patience goes a long way with them. From the photo yours looks healthy though and the variegation looks nice, so you’re definitely on the right track.
