This isn’t a sign of scale, right? A bit unsure of what the browning on roots/spots on leafs are. Any pointers will help!!!

    the browning spots on the leaves could be due to overwatering I just had that problem myself

    Monstera can get corking, if it was scale you could just wipe them off with alcohol. That leaf damage does look like a pest though

      Hmm. I bought it from someone else, maybe she previously had pests? I watered the plant today and found two rolly-pollies but no other insect looking mites. Should I keep an eye out for any additional/new damage?

      I would. Especially if you found bugs in, even though they aren't harmful
