Hey guys! I repotted my monstera today and she is pretty root bound! But whilst repotting I noticed that a couple of root ends are bright yellow? The rest are mostly white but should I be concerned? I went ahead and repotted her in the meantime:)
basically means that repotting was a good choice! the roots need room to move & grow out. also make sure the pot has a drainage hole as sitting water will rot your roots
2 Me gusta Yeah the pot she came in was way too small, the roots were peeping through the holes🫣
i’d triple the pot size from that one & i guarantee you she will thrive 😚
1 me gusta I only doubled in size, hopefully that will be okay for now until I find a pretty and bigger pot for her🥺
0 Me gusta She’s now happily sat in a new pot I think 2” bigger than the last one so she has plenty of room and a lot of drainage🌱
