First post! 🌱 Wanted to receive any feedback or tips on my one and only monstera! I’ve had her for 3 years and she has grown a ton since then! I should have taken a photo during the day, but regardless, here she is! 🤍

    What kind of monstera is this? I have a few babies, this makes me so excited! How beautiful, you’re obviously doing amazing!!!

      I am not 100% sure of the ID on her, honestly I bought her from a “big box” store originally so the description was pretty generic. 😔 (anyone on this thread know?) I live in MN so making sure she has a good mist for humidity and sunlight when able in the winter is key for me. I also talk to her, of course! 🌱✨

    She’s beautiful!! Only tip - if you wanted bigger more fenestrated leaves, you need more light on her. That’s how you’ll get the big leaves with lots of “holes” haha otherwise shes clearly ✨thriving✨

      This is a perfect tip and one I really really appreciate!!! Of course - light!! Thank you!! 😊 I was wondering why some new growth has fenestrations and some don’t haha, look at this new lil one; I was pleasantly surprised! I also don’t ever use fertilizer, although Planta recommends. I’m just so nervous to change anything I’m doing. Do you have any recommendations or experiences using fertilizer with monsteras?

      Oh yes!! You can use this fertilizer every time you water it if you’d like! It will also help with growth what not! Keep doing what you’re doing tho cause it’s working!

      I knew she was happy but I wasn’t too sure, you know, like I never had posted on here before and also I think I doubt myself too much! It’s really helped hearing from you all and I’m really grateful for this community. 🌱🤍🥹
