How would you experienced monstera parents Do with this? I was thinking about repotting it and laying the main stem that is almost horizontal with the ground, into the dirt and have new roots grow. What might you do?

    I wouldn’t bury the stem in soil as that can cause root rot which can kill the plant. What I would do is chop the plant where the aerial roots are already forming and either stick it right back into the soil or grow it in water for a few weeks until more roots grow. If there are nodes from the other part of the stem it might grow another plant!

    I would recommend just getting an actual moss pole so that she can root into it and be truly anchored. Godspeed! She’s beautiful! 💚💚

    Air layer red area. Chop teal (beneath new root growth) to remove old stem. When you repot, you'll lose one or two of the bottom leaves. Set it up on a plank or pole to keep it growing upright in the future.

      I have tried Moss poles and other different kinds of poles to keep them growing upright. Can you recommend a YouTube video or a way to do that?

    Train it to grow up. I had one that did that and it straightened up
