Finally have my longed for large monstera deliciousa (have adansonii and a teeny Thai Constellation) and it’s oh-so beautiful and already more established than I expected when I ordered it. While a lovely surprise, this also means I’m having to get my head around support faster than planned. Any advice for a newbie to support? If I go with crossing U supports for now, would it be harder to switch to a moss or coir pole later? If I go with a pole, do I need it to be taller to allow for growth? Should I only pick an extendable option? How fast do they outgrow support? I’ve been doing my my online research and am very confused, any advice much appreciated šŸ˜…

I just came across ā€œThe Sydney Plant Guyā€ (on YouTube) and I’m going to try his method of making a moss pole for the couple I’ve gotten and am waiting to arrive. He has an 11 min video titled ā€œmoss poles - how? why?ā€
