Hello đź‘‹ do I need to add more soil? And what is this coming down from the plant? (The brown stem/root??) Also, I was told I need to get a moss pole so I have one coming in!

    That's an aerial root. In nature, they're used to climb trees, hence why moss poles are great for monsteras. The soil level is fine, though I'd recommend a chunky mix if you have it.
