Hello! Is it possible to have too much humidity? I have my monsteras under a little plastic “greenhouse” cover but it is quite humid outside (81% give or take). It’s been dryer lately so I put them in here but if it could get too humid I can pull them out and let them be outside. I have a hygrometer on the way so I’ll have an accurate reading of the humidity in the greenhouse soon.

I’m interested in this respond. I keep my in the bathroom. It seems to like the moisture and humidity.

I don’t think so just as long as there’s plenty of air movement within this area. If it’s under a cover with no air circulation let it breath for a few hours so no mold or fungus builds in the soil, whatever you do make sure to keep humidity consistent :) any drastic changes could effect the plant

Perfect, thank you! I open it up for some hours of the day so it can get some air flow, however I may need to put a little fan in there. We’ll see how it goes I suppose!

It’s all a learning lesson :) I have my apartment with absolutely no ceiling fans. Started getting tons of plants and noticed mold building on the soil, so I got a rotating fan, noticed the soil actually dried up too for more consistent watering. so what you’re doing is perfect. Keep it up
