Can someone help me save this plant? It had been over watered and over the past couple months I’ve been trying to get him on track but nothing seems to help :/

I would check the size of the root ball and downsize pots especially if it was being overwatered good chance it has root rot setting in. Once they start rotting unless addressed you will be hard pressed to save it by just lowering the watering. They also like their roots to be a little snug. I would remove all the rot and repot in a pit just a little larger than the root ball
1 me gustaThe soil may also be too high. If the stem of the leaves is below the soil then additional rot can happen. Try repotting & quality soil designed for monstera.
1 me gustaMine is planted slightly too low from what I have seen😬 (first time monstera mom), so I need to find a good time to reposition it. It just popped out another leaf so I don’t want to shock or damage it.
0 Me gustaWhat kind of soil are you using?
1 me gustaA chunky high nutrient mix :/
0 Me gustaI know this sounds crazy but take it out and put it in a pot of water.
2 Me gustaUntil its roots are really BIG.
0 Me gustaIt looks like it’s having a bad reaction to the soil based off the yellowing - it might not have the right nutrients or breath ability. I’d recommend repotting the plant into a high nutrient, chunky mix. While repotting, check the roots for any root rot from the over watering and cut off anything that is slightly rotten. The plant will have a stress reaction from the root cuts and repot, but if the soil is nutritional and has large chunks such as bark or LECA, it will bounce back quickly.
