Does anyone know why my monstera won’t grow fenestrations in its leaves? The one in the photo was already there when I got the plant a year and some change ago. It’s been in a sphagnum/peat mix for a couple months now and gets 12hrs of indirect light from being right next to my grow light.

They grow more fenestrations as the plant matures. It's just a waiting game! My Monstera that I've had for 2 years just got its first inner fenestration, so be patient!

I have one grown from seed that has fenestration on his fourth leaf. I grew four from seed at the same time and none of the others have them yet. The difference was I put this one outside for the summer. Just thought I’d share 🥰🥰 I think true sunlight and a moss pole will help 😉💚
