Mona, my monstera, just opened up a new leaf and she is looking so full and gorgeous!! I can’t get over it. 😍😍 She started as a leaf cutting gifted to me from my mother-in-law.

    Gorgeous! Is that a moss pole or coco pole you’re using? I’m having trouble with mine

      I believe it’s a stackable coco pole. It seems to be doing okay, though in hindsight, I think a moss pole would have been a better plan so that the aerial roots had something to grow into.

      I built a moss pole but it’s so unsteady and difficult to keep moist 🙃

      Yeah, mine can be a bit unsteady too, and I don’t even bother trying to keep it moist lol! Seems to be an okay temporary solution though.

    How long did it take to get those fenestrated leaves??

      My plant came from a cutting of a leaf that was already fenestrated, so it’s new leaves already had them too. My mother in law had the plant for a couple years before it became large enough to have leaves like these ones.
