HELP!! I took my plant outside to water it and accidentally left it out too long in direct sun đŸ˜« The leaves are dry, drooping and turning black. How can I fix this???

    There is no fix for the leaves the black burned bits are dead. I think best to trim back what’s dead and hope for a quick recovery ❀‍đŸ©č

    Agree with SR. I go as close to the stem as I can. The plant can’t actually fix this but it can expend energy on a leaf/stem that is still somewhat healthy but also damaged instead of sending that energy into new growth or whatever else. Plus some plants respond to our chopping and trimming really well— they perceive it as danger, dying and they push our new growth like a mad dash.

    this happened to me with my outdoor giant monstera, i cut the dead/blackened leaves and it sprouted new healthy ones weeks later
