Newish plant parent. Completely new to monsteras. This is my first one and it hasn’t really grown much in the weeks I’ve had it. I did cut some damage off the leaves. Looking for any tips, if it looks like I’m doing anything wrong let me know!

Monstera are pretty resilient plants. I water mine when they are dry. I also fertilize once a month. Twice if I think I forgot it. Mine is about 5 ft from an east facing window. He grows so fast. I have an albo and regular monstera. It got so big it’s on our porch now.
1 j'aimeSome monsteras take a while to grow, especially if they’ve been moved recently. It may still be adjusting to its new environment! It looks super healthy!
3 J'aimeThank you!
1 j'aimeMonstera Thai cons take forever to grow new leafs so it may be a while till you see new leafs but looks healthy!
2 J'aimeI don’t see anyone mentioning it yet, don’t tie up the petioles of your monstera! You should free them. The leaves like to move around, you only want to tie up the main stem, which on a plant this size is going to be down by the dirt :)
4 J'aimeOmg thank you!
0 J'aimeLove his name! Hilarious and fitting! 😃
0 J'aimeThe soil looks a little dense, does he stay wet for a long time between waterings?
0 J'aimeThose grow slowly. I have one, and so does my sister, and they are both taking their time. 🤣
