After months of searching, I finally snagged my first Thai Constellation from Lowe’s! She came in this self-watering pot and I’m wondering if that needs to be swapped out for a regular. Any advice would be appreciated! 😊

Mine is still in the self-watering pot, but is outside on my screened lanai. I check before watering when the app alerts me. I usually have to water. But I’m in south Central FL, so it’s good and hot here. Still hitting 90 in September. I’ll see what happens when it gets cooler.

These needs really well draining soil, they get root rot very easy from what I've read.

Mine is in well draining soil in a self-watering pot that I keep empty for the most part.

No.. but I drive through Lakeland on I-4 regularly. I live in Brevard County and I have relatives in Hillsborough.

Ah, you should check Lakeland out sometime! If you're ever in downtown lakeland, check out a place called scout & tag, they have a good sized room just ✨FILLED✨ with plants :)
